Made for Cinema Makeup School, this is the biggest costume I've worked on yet. The past few months working this has been extremely challenging and exhausting but to see the whole makeup together makes me so proud of our work! Under the guidance of Lee Joyner, director of CMS, who sculpted the face and cowl, and Walter Welsh who did a lot of the armor fabrication, I learned a lot and really pushed myself. A lot of things could have been done better but for the most part it turned out as great as we had hoped. I did most of the work on the body- helped sculpt and mold the bodysuit and sewed the lycra bodysuit, split the armor fabrication work with Walter and did most of the painting on the armor. I also helped apply the makeup for preview night and day 2 of comic con! I also want to thank EVERY single person involved in helping us with this project. Mick Ignis our amazing model who really sold the makeup with his acting skills and for being a trooper staying in that suit for so many hours. Robert Anderson for all the electronics and mic work, Chuck Silva of Samhain Contact Lenses for the hand painted Sclera Lenses, Wayne Anderson for helping with the finger mechanics, PPI Premiere Products Inc. for providing the airbrush colors and supersolv, Meredith, Andrea, Sarah, Joanna, Lisa, Christian, Omar, Amy, Erica, for helping with molding and cleaning out the mold. Hayley Mintz for helping me with the painting of the armor only days before the con. If i have forgotten to thank anyone i apologize but you know who you are!
